The middle school students created podcasts featuring current events. After researching and finding an interesting article they created a script and choose a format to record their podcast: audio, video or animation. Students had fun being creative and kooky and enjoyed sharing their current events with their peers. Here are a couple of clips from the day we shared the podcasts. Third grade spent time discussing and learning about cybersafety. We used the "Young Kids" and "Kids" sections of http://www.cybersmart.gov.au/ as a resource. The students had a lot of offer to our discussion and at the end of the two part lesson, they created posters highlighting the most important facts they learned.
