The Tech Lab continues to be a busy place! Kindergarteners have been doing a variety of interactive activities about patterns and sorting. First graders worked on a project about maps which included a Kid Pix picture and a PowerPoint. Second grade did activities relating to the water-cycle including an on-line game about water preservation called ‘WaterLife.’ The third grade used interactive games about money and tried an Internet Scavenger Hunt. The fourth grade completed the Kasper in the Glitter digital story book, and the fifth made ‘word clouds’ for the special people in their lives. The middle school students had extensive practice with Adobe PhotoShop, creating Andy Warhol-like pictures with different filters. In another project, they started with photos of beautiful homes. By using layering and filters, they turned them into Haunted Houses. You can see their work hanging outside the Tech Lab.
